Tabouli is fresh and zesty. It is an easy salad to pack in lunches, prepare for gatherings or just as a side dish for your next meal. I love tabouli and here is my favorite way to prepare it. If you prefer more or less of any of the ingredients, feel free to prepare it as you like.
1 cup cooked bulgur wheat (can also substitute with cous cous or quinoa)
1 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 lemon sqeezed
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/4 cup olive oil
salt + pepper to taste
1 teaspoon agave (or sugar) to taste
You may also add chopped onion, fresh mint
